On which night does a lunar eclipse fall?

It falls on a Pūrṇimā night, when the Earth's shadow reaches the Moon as seen from your place. The date is reckoned for your own city, so it can differ from a list made for somewhere else.

Do I keep the Pūrṇimā fast as well?

If your house keeps a monthly Pūrṇimā fast, that rule still stands. The eclipse only adds sūtaka and the bath once it ends. It does not take the place of Guru Pūrṇimā or any other named full moon.

When is Chandra Grahana in 2026?

The Panchang fixes the day by this rule: the Pūrṇimā night when a lunar eclipse is visible at your place. The 2026 date shown here is worked out from sunrise at the place you chose, so in another city the same day can fall a day earlier or later.

Why can the Chandra Grahana date differ by city?

This year: The 2026 date shown here is worked out from sunrise at the place you chose, so in another city the same day can fall a day earlier or later.
