பஞ்சாங்கத்தில் நாள் கணக்கு: தை 1 (தை பொங்கல்)க்கு முந்தைய சிவில் நாள். திதி / நட்சத்திர எல்லை உள்ளூர் சூரியோதயத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டதால், வேறு நகரத்தில் தேதி ஒரு நாள் முன் அல்லது பின் மாறலாம்.
On the Panchang the civil date follows the civil day before Tai 1 (Thai Pongal). For Telugu/Kannada calendars, the civil day before Makara Saṅkrānti. Because tithi and nakṣatra boundaries are reckoned from local sunrise, the same observance can fall a day earlier or later in another city.
