Tulā Saṅkramaṇa is the Sun’s entry into Tulā — marked in Karnataka as a Kāverī bathing and dāna puṇyakāla.
On the Panchang the civil date follows solar ingress into Tulā (rāśi 7). Because tithi and nakṣatra boundaries are reckoned from local sunrise, the same observance can fall a day earlier or later in another city.
