United Kingdom Tarpana Sankalpam – Shalmali Dweepe,

For the United Kingdom — London, Birmingham, Leicester, Glasgow and other diaspora centres — the default geography is Śālmali Dweepe, Airopa Khande, Vindyasya Paschimottara Digbhage, Samudra Madhyasthita, Bruhadaranya Kshetre. The convention dropdown also offers Śāka · Udaya · Airopa (with optional Aangla Bhumau) and Meru-only Jambu–Bhārata.

UK temple calendars still publish Amavasya and Mahalaya dates on British civil days; the sankalpam geography is what changes versus an India booklet.

British Summer Time shifts sunrise, so Aparahna-based Shannavati days can differ from Chennai even on the same Gregorian date — set your UK place in the Panchang header before copying tithi limbs.

If your family ācārya sends a Bharata Varshe PDF, use the Meru-only / Jambu variant — or keep Śālmali if that is your temple line.
