Kṛṣṇa Dāmodara Dwādaśī is Śrāvaṇa Kṛṣṇa Dvādaśī. Some North Indian lists call the same tithi Bachha Baras (calf-related custom); English and Gujarati labels keep that as a badge. On the Panchang the civil date follows common Ekādaśī pāraṇā day — break the fast after sunrise, avoiding forbidden windows. Because tithi and nakṣatra boundaries are reckoned from local sunrise, the same observance can fall a day earlier or later in another city.
