ஏகாதசி விரதத்தின் பாரணை நாள் பொதுவாகத் துவாதசி. அருணோதயத்தில் ஏகாதசியைத் தசமி தொடுவது போன்ற குறிப்பிட்ட தோஷம் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே வைணவ விதியில் விரதமே துவாதசிக்கு நகரும்.
